Full Body Skin Scan
The examination is completed in two sections: the upper body is examined first, followed
by the lower body. A dermatoscope is used to carefully assess the skin for any concerning
lesions or moles. The process takes approximately 20 minutes. The approach can be
adapted based on your comfort level—please let us know if you have any preferences or
concerns.

Short-Term Interval Mole Monitoring (Mole Mapping)
For selected lesions that are borderline or atypical, high-resolution dermoscopic images are
taken and reviewed again in 3 months for change detection.
On-the-Day Minor Treatments
If appropriate, certain treatments such as cryotherapy may be offered during the same visit.
Streamlined Referrals
Where possible, we attempt to provide fast-track pathways to secondary care for lesions requiring biopsy or excision.
Please Note: SkinScan is a skin cancer screening service only. We do not treat general skin conditions such as rashes, eczema, or acne.
